If you do a google on "Vallejo Municipal Bonds", people have been calling for this since at least 2008. Is it really any wonder that the markets haven't reacted to the "news"?

What new information is there? I would find it more useful if you discussed the price at which Vallejo Municipal Bonds (GO's? Revenue Bonds? Secured/unsecured? There are many, many types of municipal bonds!) are trading and what are the expected recovery values, and steps that Vallejo is (or could be) taking (e.g. cutting Pension Benefit Obligations, outsourcing all city services . No point in panicking bond holders just for its own sake, as that particuarly angle has been played out and is practically on the cover of Time Magazine (think Meredith Whitney).
